IF YOU’RE ON SOCIAL MEDIA THROUGHOUT THE DAY, YOU MUST NOT BE BUSY DOING ACTUAL WORK.

That’s a sentiment that’s been floating around in the voiceover community as of late.

Creating attention (as Gary V mentions below), is not “actual work?”

Connecting and engaging with potential clients is not “actual work?”

Building a brand is not “actual work?

The issue is not BEING on social media throughout the day. It’s that you don’t know how to LOOK like you’re on your social accounts throughout the day, and that you don’t understand the value to learn how.

I mean what does Gary V know anyway? He only has 4.9 MILLION followers (on LinkedIn alone) and a ridiculous revenue generating machine.

If you do your homework on Gary, you’ll find that the foundation of his media enterprise humbly began by “being on social media throughout the day.”

You may return to your regularly scheduled activities – I’m going to be on my social accounts throughout the day some more…
