Are you ready to go ONE MORE ROUND with the Fight C.L.U.B.?
Today, we’re going to talk about content marketing so you can make the most impact.
As a kid, my favorite baseball player growing up was Pete Rose. He had the most hits in major league history and still holds the record of 4256 hits. You’re probably thinking a guy that hit the ball that many times, that got that many base hits, will probably have a pretty good batting average, right? He didn’t. BUT in addition to having the most hits, he got the most AT BATS.
So how does this apply to your marketing? Content marketing works the same way. You have to have a lot of AT BATS. You have to step up to the plate every day and engage. You need to like, comment and share other people’s content plus contribute your own branded content and you need to do it more than 1 or 2 times a month, you need to do it consistently.
Ideally, you want to try daily. Each day get your name out there in some form to get those AT BATS. Those AT BATS will turn into things such as likes and comments on YOUR content, which results in the most important thing: you are getting VIEWS. Those views are creating impressions on potential buyers so when it comes to the time that they want to purchase your product or service, they will remember you.
So, be like Pete Rose, get those AT BATS, collect all of those hits – then you’ll be able to set your own records of how many pieces of business or contracts you close. So keep this in mind next time you do your content marketing.
